The Dragonfly's Love (Book 8)

Caledonia-Debian had recently exploded, leaving many in the outer regions doubting the emperor’s existence. King Bendigeidfran’s agents suppressed rebellions and enforced his strict rule.

After nine months of restoring the kingdom, the Caledonia-Debian battle groups, led by Crown Prince Mandlenkosi-Inkosi and Warlord Prince Tierneigh-Tadala, are returning home. Queen Dominique is eager to celebrate her son’s return with a big party, but King Bendigeidfran has informed her that their sons prefer a quiet welcome. Warlord Prince Tierneigh-Tadala is anxious to spend time with his fiancée, Barwyn, while Crown Prince Mandlenkosi-Inkosi also desires a low-key reception.

Queen Dominique half-promises not to plan anything elaborate for their return, but King Bendigeidfran sees through her compliance. He plans to ask his stewards to limit her activities. The king is fine with a meal and a dance in the park, allowing courting couples to spend time together.

The ship’s atmosphere buzzed with courting couples on Caledonia-Debian. Hohentauern Chateau, the complex’s hidden retreat, added a touch of romantic magic to the planetarium. Young love was contagious, inspiring everyone from kings to Spartan warriors. Impulsiveness and steadfastness defined their efforts to win their lady loves’ hearts.

The Dragonfly & The Phoenix (Book 7)

Bendigeidfran and Dominique live in tranquility on the newly commissioned New Caledonia Debian. Having escaped the destruction of their home world, the royal family and the residents of New Caledonia-Debian settle into a peaceful rhythm within the security of their fortified space habitat. Then, the empire is brutally attacked, shattering their peace in an instant. The colony on Dabir-Aemilios has been invaded, and the population has been victimized. On an emergency frequency transmission, the Chief of Security Kaarle broadcasted the need for help. An undercover reporter recorded the planet being ravished and its population victimized. As King Bendigeidfran was being briefed on the disposition of Dabir-Aemilios, First Engineer Khshayarsha shimmered into the briefing room. The long-range radar in the command center picked up an enemy battle group closing on

the trajectory of the New Caledonia-Debian. Second Engineer Vainaoinen reported that the iron dome responded to the threat, and fighters were being launched from the battleships and destroyers. In reaction to the direct insult to the Caledonia-Debian empire, King Bendigeidfran orders a full recall of all personnel, active or reserve warriors, to be brought on to defend the New Caledonia-Debian. Crown Prince Mandlenkosi-Inkosi and King Bendigeidfran’s battle group stand united to protect the habitat while the other three fleet commanders prepare to take back the colony planet. The monarch demands a battle plan from each of the fleet commanders in one hour. As the monarch made his battle plans, Queen Dominique made her own. The queen’s inner Priestess, Zarathushtra, emerged as the queen assembled her weapons. With the combined help of her children with direct ties to Ozias-Theophania, the Abikanile-Nakisisa would unleash its power to defeat the rogue Valdemar-Wolfrik, the galactic wolf of House Canstrand. But as the king confronts the enemy, he is informed of the internal adversary in his home. Now, the battle is in his backyard. Queen Dominique must rid the New Caledonia-Debian of this threat as King Bendigeidfran engages with the insane Crown Prince of Canstrand. The legend states that when the king became angry, you may die; when the queen became angry, everything will explode. Boom. Like the Phoenix rises from the ash, a stronger Abikanile-Nakisisa would emerge to live out the legend.

Execute Exodus Protocols (Book 6)

King Bendigeidfran turned to look at the young woman. Her face was flush from the exercise, but she was not out of breath. The king spoke in his language in a calm tenor, “Do you know why I am here, Dominique of Earth?” King Bendigeidfran expected Dominique to look at his son for translation, but when she answered in the same language with flawless grammar, he gained a new respect for the little woman before him.

Dominique paused before she answered King Bendigeidfran. She did not look to Prince Demetrjusz for direction or definition. In a sweet clear voice, Dominique said, “Your Royal Highness, you are here to evaluate my character and determine if I am worthy of the title Princess Dominique, Crown Princess of Caledonia-Debian and fitting mother of a royal heir.”

The Dragonfly's Sting (Book 5)

The narrative for book five – The Dragonfly’s Sting is as follows:

For two decades, King Bendigeidfran lived and ruled from the World Ship. In the monarch’s absence on the home planet of Caledonia-Debian, the pontifical caste grew more influential. The depraved leaders of the religious sect began to prey on the people. The chief priest assumed the role of governor of the planet. The emperor was unaware of the situation, and the religious leaders took over his home planet. In response to the cries against the perverse actions of the insurgent priests, several retired warriors and a few virtuous priests researched the law.

They found the forgotten Governance Charter for the Caledonia-Debian Empire. The older Caledonia-Debian warriors remembered the charter and the requirement for the king to reside in the home world. During his tenure on the planet as the king, King Bendigeidfran was an authoritarian ruler, but he protected the people. When the warriors posted the Governance Charter for the population to see, the people of Caledonia-Debian demanded that it be enforced, and civil unrest broke out on the planet. The loyal warriors took the consulate by force, and an emergency meeting of the intergalactic council was convened. With the home planet under lockdown by the faithful warriors of King Bendigeidfran, an emergency message went to the World Ship. King Bendigeidfran was informed of the unrest and the evocation of the Governance Charter for the Caledonia-Debian Empire. In the message sent by the intergalactic council, King Bendigeidfran was charged with desertion of his monarchy and commanded to abdicate the crown to his fledgling heir, Crown Prince Mandlenkosi-Inkosi. Because the prince was unknown to the people of Caledonia-Debian and a minor, several political rivals proposed the installment of a distant cousin of King Bendigeidfran as the emperor of the Caledonia-Debian empire. King Bendigeidfran only realized the state of his planet once he began to receive reports from the loyal warlords of his army on Caledonia-Debian. He ordered the World Ship to return to his home planet. The monarch responded to the charges of abandonment by resoundingly ordering the warriors on the planet to secure the consulate building and take the traitor’s prisoner, until he arrived. Upon arrival at the planet, royal fighter planes attacked the areas where the traitors were entrenched. After they surrendered, King Bendigeidfran held public executions of the insurgents and traitors to his kingdom. Once the planet was secure, the monarch triumphantly entered his capital on a white stallion. The warrior king had returned. The population was impressed with the man they remembered as a reclusive and suspicious monarch. In the processional, the four teenage sons of the monarch were presented for the first time. The population was ecstatic with the return of their Warrior King, Bendigeidfran. Queen Dominique was subjected to prejudice because of her status as a queen instead of a consort. Dominique demanded that her position as the queen of Caledonia-Debian be acknowledged. The queen’s totem had always been a dragonfly, a beautiful creature capable of delivering a painful sting. The staff and minor dignitaries associated with the palace operations soon discovered that the petite woman was as autocratic as her formidable mate. Dominique was given complete control over the palace’s operations and authority over all that worked there. Dominique had a significant influence on her mercurial king, and for this, the population loved her, but the priests and religious sycophants hated her. Dominique used her power to protect her family when a Crestar army attempted a coup on the planet. She also destroyed battleships that threatened her oldest son, Crown Prince Mandlenkosi-Inkosi. The power of the Abikanile-Nakisisa was the painful sting of the Dragonfly. The Dragonfly was accountable to only one person, King Bendigeidfran.

The Dragonfly In The Garden (Book 2)

King Bendigeidfran leaned back and took a long breath. He was astonished by the candor he heard from this fascinating little woman. Dominique spoke better in his language than his own prime minister or the man’s daughter. It gave King Bendigeidfran a great deal of satisfaction to know that this tiny little woman had obviously learned the royal language not just to say platitudes but to actually carry on conversations with her mate’s father.

King Bendigeidfran spoke huskily in his native tongue, “It would appear my son has coached you well with what to say to his father.”

Dominique’s eyes flashed a sparkling shade of kelly green, her temper was high, and she answered the king, “King Bendigeidfran, Prince Demetrjusz does not coach me or give me the words that I use. I am an intelligent woman, and I will speak my mind with clarity in all things.”

THE DRAGONFLY AND
THE PRINCE (Book 1)

During that evening, Prince Demetrjusz decided to take a walk. Roald had insisted on accompanying him, and Kenechukwa followed at a distance. During the brisk walk that Demetrjusz took, he had tried to lose himself in the city. There were several shops open, and he looked idly into the windows, until he saw a flash of silver. Pausing, Demetrjusz looked a little closer into a shop window.

With surprise, Demetrjusz saw a tiny woman standing before a display of brightly colored fabric. Her hair was white with a frame of black. Only one other person the prince had ever seen had that unique color pattern or diminutive stature—that of the figure skater from the previous charity performance. The prince’s sensitive ears picked up every syllable that the tiny beauty said. “Stefanie, if you could use this in the costume you are sewing for me. I have to get back before my curfew is up.”
